00:50We were addressing the root cause of air pollution or the climate crisis,

00:53which was waste, because more than 30% of Delhi's air pollution

00:56is directly or indirectly caused by waste.

01:11We started planting these trees and these native trees

01:14in urban areas, right?

01:16We started planting them in patches, 200-300 trees per patch,

01:20native trees, not only to increase biodiversity,

01:23but also to reduce air pollution.

01:47You have to be practical and think of solutions that are easy for people,

01:51because, you know, as we saw with one step, you know,

01:54when we did a door-to-door pickup,

01:57it was exceptionally easy for people to just leave their waste outside.

02:32I think the time for commitments is over

02:35and time for action is there right now.

02:37There are plenty of young people who are finding these solutions

02:40all over the world. You have to encourage them.
