Ambulance driver Aarif Khan died of Covid after ferrying coronavirus patients and dead bodies for six months.

00:00I used to work for 18 hours a day. I used to stay awake at night. I used to walk around the ambulance station at night.

00:17At night, if someone needed a mortuary box, I used to go and give it to them.

00:30Every one of our drivers has carried 50, 100, 60, 200 such dead bodies.

00:42One of them was Arif. Arif Bhai stayed here and worked for the patients and the dead bodies.

00:52He is remarkable. We have picked up 19 such dead bodies that the family members ran away.

01:00On the 1st of January, Arif Khan had a fever. He had a congestion in his chest. He was left with 60-65% oxygen.
