00:00He said, I just asked him, what do you want to become when you grow up?
00:11He pointed his finger towards me and said, I want to be like you.
00:15That's a wonderful gesture from this kid.
00:38But there's something that, you know, there's a relation which is formed before birth.
00:45So I guess this was something like that only.
00:55I met him on a roadside sitting and playing.
00:58He was playing there.
00:59So I just called him towards me and offered him a chocolate.
01:03And after that, we started speaking and I got to know that he can't hear and he's special.
01:09He's a special kid.
01:11So I offered him a chocolate and told that you come tomorrow to meet me in the camp.
01:24So he was in the camp for a complete day from 11 o'clock till 5 o'clock sitting there waiting
01:31for me.
01:32My boys even offered him chocolates, food, money, but he didn't take anything.
01:39He took out his purse and showed it that I don't want money, I just want to meet sir.
01:45Luckily at 5 o'clock, I came back and he saw me coming from 500 meters or so and came running
01:51and met me.
01:52Yeah, I was waiting for you since six hours.
01:55Where were you?
01:57So he bought me a crate of apples and all.
02:00And after that only, we clicked up.
02:10So doctors from there, they advised me, sir, you get him treated.
02:15Then I sent him to a doctor in Baramulla, when he heard about the thing we are having,
02:23the bond we are sharing.
02:24He told that, sir, you are doing so much for us, I will do his free consultation.
02:30This thing happened when I was there on leave.
02:33No consultation fees will be taken from him.
02:41This is the magnanimity of this kid that he's understanding whatever I'm saying.
02:45So every common person can just communicate like that with gestures.
02:50I don't know how is he understanding, but whatever I'm trying to say, he's replying
02:54me back.
02:56And in the same way, he's also communicating the same thing back in the same gestures.
03:01And I'm also understanding that.
03:03So I told you, that's a thing which is written in our destiny that we'll be meeting and we'll
03:09be having such a sweet relation.
03:13He's just saying that I loved you, that's it.
03:34So the approach of teachers towards these special kids were not that heartwarming.
03:42So I told that I should remove him from that school and I got him enrolled in a normal
03:47school which is there nearby only.
03:49However, his classes and teaching is going on in DEIC, which is District Early Intervention
03:55Center, which is there in Handwara Government Hospital.
03:59There's a special section for these kids and a teacher is also there.
04:04Mr. Shafi is the teacher who is taking care of him regarding his studies and all.
04:08He told that you don't worry, I'll take care of him like my own son.
04:13If you're doing so much, can't we do the same?
04:20It is said that a person who doesn't have one sense, he always has the sixth sense.
04:26And that is the purpose of those special teachers to bring that sixth sense out.
04:31So he's working hard and Mr. Shafi also is working his boots in and out to bring the
04:38best out of this kid.
04:44It's a hereditary thing.
04:46It happened to his father and in his family, there are a total nine members out of which
04:51five are like this only.
04:53They are special.
05:01So after I got him enrolled in a school, so I went to the family and before that I
05:16went to the family and told that I'll take the burden of his education and medical expenses.
05:22Whatever it is, I'll be there to take care of.
05:24So they were shocked in the starting, but later when I started interacting with them
05:32heartily and his grandmother was very much happy and she said in Urdu, in Kashmiri language,
05:40Sir, you can take him wherever you want to take him, but make him a big man and bring him here.
05:45That feels good, both for the boy and me and hope this turns out to be a helping hand
05:59for me also and for Gauahar also and very soon I would like to hear from this boy.
06:07I guess that's just destiny.
06:16That was an immediate gesture or just a random gesture I showed to this boy, but the kind
06:24of love and affection he showed upon me, that was tremendous and that was actually heart-touching.
