She may not have won the US election just yet, but she sure has won Indian hearts. The Democratic vice-president candidate Kamala Harris says she relishes her idli sambar as much as she enjoys a plate of tikka.

00:58Jack asks, what are you doing to take care of your mental health on the campaign trail?
01:03Lots of things.
01:04I work out every morning, FaceTime with all of the kids in my life.
01:07I love to cook when I'm able.
01:09And I'm actually also teaching Doug how to cook.
01:11Although that may not be good for my mental health.
01:14Ellie asks, what is your plan to ensure a sustainable and eco-friendly future for my
01:19generation Gen Z?
01:21We have to have timelines and we have to have commitments.
01:24And Joe and I are prepared to make both commitments with timelines, a net zero emissions by 2050.
01:31But getting there along the way by creating the jobs that are going to be necessary to
01:36get to a clean energy economy.
01:38Kelsey asks, many women young and old look up to you.
01:42What advice do you have for us all?
01:44You never have to ask anyone permission to lead.
01:47You know, I have in my career been told many times, it's not your time.
01:52It's not your turn.
01:53And let me just tell you, I eat no for breakfast.

02:19It's about in the first 100 days passing the Equality Act.
02:23It's also about working to make sure that our LGBTQ youth are safe and protected and
02:29not bullied.
02:30And then in particular, our transgender community with a particular emphasis on transgender
02:35black women, making sure that they are protected and safe.

02:42Will my vote make a difference?
02:44There are so many places where one or two votes make the difference in an entire election.
02:51And your voice must be present in that decision, because everything about that decision is
02:57going to impact your life.
