00:00To be clear, I haven't participated in any signal group messaging that relates to any classified
00:07information at all. Did this conversation at some point include information on weapons packages,
00:15targets, or timing? Not that I'm aware of. Senator, I can attest to the fact there were
00:21no classified or intelligence equities that were included in that chat group at any time.
00:28My colleagues and I feel very strongly about the war planning meeting over unclassified phones.
00:34Obviously reckless, obviously dangerous. Both the mishandling of classified information and
00:39the deliberate destruction of federal records are potential crimes that ought to be investigated
00:44immediately. And I want to make clear that I'm of the view that there ought to be resignations,
00:49starting with the National Security Advisor and the Secretary of Defense.
00:53Director Ratcliffe and Director Gabbard, have you participated in any other group chats with
01:01senior Trump administration officials in which classified information was shared using phones
01:06that weren't cleared for such information? Question for the two of you. Senator, thank you
01:12for the question. Your question was, have I participated in any other group chats sharing
01:18classified information? To be clear, I haven't participated in any signal group messaging that
01:25relates to any classified information at all. Okay. Director Gabbard? Senator, I have the same
01:32answer. I have not participated in any signal group chat or any other chat on another app that
01:37contained any classified information. Director Patel, you weren't in this particular group chat,
01:42but have you participated in any chats on unclassified phones with other administration
01:47officials relating to national security? And if so, on what other topics? Thank you. Thank you
01:54for your question, Senator. Not that I can recall. Did this conversation at some point include
02:00information on weapons packages, targets, or timing? Not that I'm aware of.
02:09Director Gabbard, same question.
02:11Same answer, and defer to the Department of Defense on that question.
02:15Well, those are two different answers, but you're saying that did not, that was not part of the
02:21conversation? That's my knowledge. Precise operational issues were not part of this conversation? Correct.
02:26Okay. Director Gabbard, I didn't intend to get into the Jeffrey Goldberg story, but something you said
02:35has sort of puzzled me. According to open source reporting at 1144 on the morning of March 15th,
02:45Secretary Hedsef put into this group text a detailed operation plan including targets,
02:53the weapons we were going to be using, attack sequences, and timing, and yet you've testified
02:59that nothing in that chain was classified. Wouldn't that be classified? What if that had
03:06been made public that morning before the attack took place? Senator, I can attest to the fact
03:14that there were no classified or intelligence equities that were included in that chat group
03:19at any time. So the attack sequencing, and timing, and weapons, and targets you don't consider should
03:27have been classified? I defer to the Secretary of Defense and the National Security Council on
03:30that question. Well, you're the head of the intelligence community. You're supposed to know
03:36about classifications. So your testimony very clearly today is that nothing was in that set
03:41of texts that were classified. I'll follow up on Senator Wyden's question. If that's the case,
03:46please release that whole text stream so that the public can have a view of what actually
03:53transpired on this discussion. It's hard for me to believe that targets, and timing, and weapons
04:00would not have been classified. Don't miss out. Log on to OneIndia.com for more updates.
