00:00The Department of Transportation of the DOTR is targeting the expansion of landfills in Mindanao

00:06where the Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon personally inspected the Key Airport Development Project in the region.

00:12Here, more than half of the repairs are being done

00:16in the Sambuanga International Airport Runway and Passenger Terminal Building.

00:20The project is targeted to be completed by July 2025.

00:24At the same time, 78 land titles were turned over for the new location of the runway.

00:30Aside from this, the feasibility study and master plan for the coming-in airport was also initiated.

00:36While Secretary Dizon instructed the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, or CAAP,

00:42to expedite the expansion of the terminal building to triple the seating capacity in Siargao Airport.

00:47He also removed the initial security screening after the thorough security risk assessment.

00:53According to Secretary Dizon, these projects are part of the order of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:59to improve the service for our passengers.

01:03It is expected that these projects will provide a faster and better journey by 2025.
