00:00Hello, my name is Max Schumacher and I'm the director of The Treehouse.

00:06Now before we dive deeper into this project, I would like you to take the time to watch

00:11the teaser we have made for my film, The Treehouse.

01:11So my name is Mac and I was raised in Northern California and I went to school at the University

01:34of Colorado to study film production and business.

01:37So after graduating, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona and after living there for a few years,

01:42I decided to make the move to LA.

01:44Currently I work at a camera rental house known as Panavision and that takes up most

01:48of my day-to-day time.

01:50As far as my professional career, I've spent a lot of time working on set, doing all sorts

01:55of things, anything from PA-ing to camera operating to first and second AC-ing and that

02:02is currently what I do the most.

02:04I made the move to LA because there is nothing that I want to do in this world more than

02:08be a director and I just wanted to take the time to speak to you about my dream and my

02:13dream is to become a filmmaker and I would be absolutely honored if you felt compelled

02:18to help me achieve this goal.

02:20Now the truth is, is that if I want to make this movie, I need your help.

02:25Unfortunately this movie cannot be made without money, so I wanted to start this crowd fund.

02:30Now before we move further, I want to take the time to introduce you to my partners on

02:34the business side of the project.

02:36So first is our executive producer, Stephen Frederick.

02:39Now Stephen works at Apple TV where he currently is a post-production supervisor where he has

02:44worked for two years and has done other general producing for more than five.

02:49Now our next producer who will be our line producer on this project is Hector Martinez.

02:53Now Hector is a current student at the American Film Institute here in Los Angeles.

02:58Hector has been in the film industry for a little bit over ten years and is now pursuing

03:02his master's degree at one of the most prestigious film schools in America.

03:06Now below this video is a little more information about this project, a little bit more in depth,

03:11just you know, kind of the ins and outs, where the money is going, locations, actors, that

03:14sort of thing.
