00:00The world can be a distracting place with fewer and fewer spaces to really check out
00:05and check in.
00:06Those moments where I'm alone, taking care of myself, doing my makeup, or taking a bath
00:10are so special and so needed.
00:12It's where I get to be alone with my thoughts.
00:15Well, not completely alone, because today I'm going to let you in on all of those thoughts
00:21that run through my mind when I'm present with myself and only myself.
00:25And, well, all of you viewers.
00:34Play Beauty came to be as of a few years ago.
00:38Started it from scratch, from the ground up.
00:40I really had to figure out what exactly I wanted to say.
00:43Play actually kind of helped me figure out more about myself when I realized that I was
00:47going to be creating something that I wanted to see, or something that I would use, or
00:51I needed to fill a void in the beauty space, which is already so huge.
00:55I wanted it to be unique and different and expressive and colorful.
01:00I wanted something that wasn't going to break me out, and I also wanted to become Leaping
01:05Bunny certified.
01:06I want to test our products on animals, which I don't know why the beauty industry ever
01:11tested on animals and why something would be so toxic that they wouldn't be able to
01:15test it on a human.
01:16That's pretty concerning to me.
01:17There were a lot of concerning things that I learned about companies while developing
01:22one that I just thought, wait, we do this.
01:24This is a thing.
01:25I mean, I guess in the last couple years, we all haven't really been wearing a lot of
01:31makeup since we've been at home or we've been underneath masks, so I think we've all been
01:34thinking about skincare a lot more, and I really figured out that I need to change my
01:40diet and I need to change what I'm putting into my body.
01:43I've been learning from facialists and from gynecologists and all kinds of things, but
01:48when you have a breakout on your skin, it is your skin communicating to you that there
01:52is an issue.
01:53I break out hormonally around my chin, and I figured out that I had a hormonal imbalance
01:59and I needed to start taking different supplements to do that, and I know that we all have different
02:03things that our body's trying to tell us, but if I could say anything just from what
02:07I've learned, I would say just listen to that.
02:12I didn't know that a Brazilian butt lift is what a butt whatever was called, but what
02:18I think about is the healing process, because how do you sit?
02:23How do you relax?
02:24How do you take the load off?
02:25I give women so much credit that get anything done because I'm like, that seems like the
02:33recovery process would just be horrible, and then I've seen videos, which I don't even
02:37want to see, but it's breaking down when celebrities have disappeared, so when they would have
02:42gotten what work done or what would have happened, and I just find the fact that people break
02:47that down and take the time is just, it's insane to me.
02:51People are detectives on everything.
02:54I always forget what the hell this looks like when I'm doing it when I'm alone, and then
02:59when people are watching, okay.
03:04I get a lot of brow tips from different makeup artists.
03:06I just love hearing what they have to say about brows, and a lot of them recently have
03:12just told me not to touch them, and I feel like those are people's biggest regrets is
03:17just going too far into the brow waxing.
03:26I'm like, I'm not a morning person, and I'm not a night person, so I guess I'm like a
03:29midday person, which nobody really talks about.
03:31I am more of a morning person, though.
03:33I just pass out at night, like I turn on a show, and I'm just asleep, like the second
03:38my head hits the pillow, I'm asleep.
03:43Love life.
03:44I'm watching that show on HBO, and Nine Perfect Strangers.
03:48Each character is just so distinct and hilarious, and I think every actor brings something so
03:53different and is just so talented.
03:55My mom's a huge Real Housewives fan.
03:59I would just watch a lot of Andy Cohen.
04:01I think Watch What Happens Live is one of the most honest talk shows that not a lot
04:04of people talk about, but I love Andy Cohen plays this game Plead the Fifth, and he asks
04:10the hardest hitting questions as far as someone's personal life that I would never have the
04:14balls to ask, and then he also just has everyone drinking, and it's really funny to watch
04:17like some people don't really want to drink, and then some celebrities are just like taking
04:21shots, and then by the end of the interview, they're feeling the alcohol, and they're just
04:25opening up even more and just being so truly themselves, and I feel like Andy has this
04:29way of just making people be super honest with him, like he just, I think a lot of people
04:34know him and are friends with him, so I like that show, and then I would watch the UK Love
04:41Island, but I had to stop because I really got addicted to that show.
04:49The Cobra Kai set vibe is one of the most fun sets I've ever been on, and I've definitely
04:56lied before in interviews and said, oh yeah, we're like a family, and then I've kind of
05:00regretted it because we're not, and I think a lot of people say that, but this show, we're
05:04genuinely like family, and we all really are best friends, and like even Ralph Macchio
05:10had his 60th birthday this season, and he made sure that each and every one of us from
05:15the cast could be there, and we were there with his kids and his wife, and it was just
05:19such a special time.
05:20No one really expected the show to be what it is now, since going to Netflix, and the
05:25way fans have received the show has been so mind-blowing, and Cobra Kai went to Netflix
05:31over COVID, so we were just in quarantine like everyone else, and then all of a sudden,
05:35the show was number one, and it was just a wild experience.
05:43Yeah, unfortunately when doing that much karate or doing that many stunt scenes, like something
05:49is just bound to happen, and nothing really huge has happened, but my hand definitely
05:55has slipped and has accidentally hit Mary during the show, and she's so kind about it
06:04because obviously it's not intentional, and things just happen.
06:08Luckily, we have to have fake bruises, and like fake blood, and fake makeup, so if we
06:12do get hit, we just kind of go along with it, and make up, and then we just make it
06:16a little darker, and then if we have to match it the next week, we do with makeup.
06:23I've actually never told anyone this before, and I'm glad that you guys are accepting it
06:27because yeah, I do wake up in the mornings, and like I like to be alone because I like
06:32to have dance parties, and I like to do like some cardio, like 80s type aerobics, dancing
06:39alone, and like I'll put on any song, and then just be like, all right, for this amount
06:43of time, you can't go on your phone, like for these next three songs, you have to like
06:47completely just dance your heart out, and skip, or like whatever the music makes you
06:52feel, and sometimes I'll end up like rolling on the floor, or just like twirling around.
06:58My dog gets really excited, so I feel like he's my hype man, like one of the most therapeutic
07:02things for me has been screaming, and so as loud as I can, but I feel like where I live,
07:07people will be really concerned, so that's like a way I also get energy out, is just
07:12by like, it's so therapeutic to just scream bloody murder, like especially with where
07:17the world is at right now, and like sometimes you feel so hopeless, like there's nothing
07:20you can do, and you know, I mean, you can do what you can, and then you can also scream.
07:26I just want it a little brighter than I want, it's just a lot with the purple eye, so you
07:34know what, let's just add this glitter lip gloss, let's see what happens.
07:37All right, this is my look, this was my everyday makeup look that got really carried away while
07:44I was talking to you guys.
07:55Thanks for watching.
