00:15:07The next piece is Nazca by Éric Marchély.

00:15:13This piece is based on the Nazca Desert,

00:15:19on the concept of this Nazca Desert in Peru,

00:15:22which is a very special place

00:15:24because you can see these lines and shapes

00:15:27that cannot be seen from the sky.

00:15:31Nobody knows why they're there,

00:15:34so it's a very mysterious piece

00:15:37that we think well represents the atmosphere of our duo.

00:21:57from a piece for harp and guitar

00:21:59by flute player and composer Gary Schocker.

00:22:06This composer is, I think he's really good.

00:22:10However, the last piece,

00:22:13I don't know, he has something with guitarist,

00:22:15so instead of changing the part

00:22:17and make it, you know, doable with this instrument,

00:22:20and then change some things on the harp,

00:22:22he asked the guitar player to change the tuning

00:22:25of every single string before the last movement,

00:22:28which is really annoying in a concert,

00:22:30so I'll try to be as quickly,

00:22:32I'll try to change each string as quickly as I can

00:22:36so that I don't interrupt too much.

00:22:39But I think it's still worth it,

00:22:41because it's one of my favorites.

00:22:44After that, we're going to play another piece

00:22:47by Eric Marchalie, which is the composer,

00:22:50NASCA composer, which is called Suite Logique

00:22:54and is made out of a prelude, an interlude, and a postlude.

00:22:58So I guess the title is accurate.

00:49:08It's a suite of four dances inspired by Latin American dances.

00:49:13And the last one is the candombe, which is the most lively.

00:49:18But it's also the one from which the name of this piece comes from,

00:49:23because there's just a different section much calmer and peaceful than the rest.

00:49:31This is the magical fragment that somehow inspired the composer.

00:49:38That's what he says about this piece.
