Daniel Cox Jr. (18 luglio 1943 – 7 marzo 2025), noto anche come Sonny Cox , è stato un cantautore e cantante folk statunitense, noto soprattutto per il suo album del 1974 Feel So Good .Danny Cox è nato a Cincinnati , Ohio , Stati Uniti da Bessy e Daniel Cox (Senior), settimo di otto figli. Da ragazzo, cantava nel coro della chiesa con Rudolph Isley. Negli anni '60 ha iniziato la sua carriera professionale esibendosi in un Hootenanny Folk Tour.Nel 1967 Cox si trasferì a Kansas City , dove continuò la sua carriera e prosperò sia musicalmente che personalmente.Il 6 gennaio 2008, un incendio distrusse la sua casa e i suoi mezzi di sostentamento. On January 6, 2008, a fire destroyed his home and his livelihood. Cox later wrote commercial jingles and worked with children's theaters.
