00:46My colleague Shivani Sharma is joining me on the phone line for more on this.
00:50Shivani, what can you tell us about this key meet that is taking place? Tulsi Gabbard will be
00:54attending this meet. Other intelligence chiefs will also be part of the meet. Give us more details.
01:00Shivani, this is a high-level meeting between a number of
01:04nations and Tulsi Gabbard. She is already in India for this particular meeting. She is the
01:10Director of National Intelligence of the United States. She arrived here on Sunday.
01:14And this is a part of her multi-nation trip to the Indo-Pacific regions. She will be going to
01:22other places too apart from India. And this will be a high-level conference that will be chaired by
01:27the National Security Advisor of India, Ajit Doval. He will be focusing on strengthening
01:32the intelligence sharing and tackling the international crimes, especially terrorism.
01:37And this will also be chaired by the intelligence chiefs of Australia, Germany, New Zealand and
01:43other key partners of the nations to enhance cooperation, especially in the domain of
01:48security. Right, thanks Shivani for bringing us those details on that story.
01:51The New Delhi is hosting the top officials from the Trump administration, marking a major
01:59diplomatic moment. J.D. Vance, Vice President of America, is gearing up for a visit to India
02:04later this month, accompanied by Second Lady Usha Vance. Tulsi Gabbard, the U.S. Director of
02:09National Intelligence, has now arrived for a meet. Gabbard's visit marks the first high-level
02:14engagement between India and the Trump administration since his re-election.
02:18Gabbard is attending the intelligence chief's meeting, a key gathering of global security
02:22leaders. Joining her are Daniel Rogers, Canada's intelligence chief, a visit that signals a
02:27potential thaw in the India-Canada relations under Prime Minister-designate Mark Carney after
02:32ties hit rock bottom under Justin Trudeau over the 2023 Niger controversy. Also in attendance
02:38will be Richard Moore, the head of the UK's MI6, where the Khalistan issue remains a major concern
02:44for British intelligence. NSA chief Ajit Diwal will be chairing the key intel chief's conclave
02:49in Delhi. The conclave will bring together top security officials from West Asia, Australia,
02:54New Zealand and the UAE alongside senior Russian representatives despite geopolitical tensions.
03:01Russia's participation comes at a crucial time as the United States pushes for a ceasefire deal
03:06in Ukraine, while its negotiators engage with Moscow and Kyiv in Saudi Arabia.
03:11With a packed agenda covering terrorism, cyber security, transnational crimes and a global
03:16conflict, this Ajit Diwal-led initiative has become a key platform for intelligence diplomacy.
