00:00Police have crippled a drug distribution syndicate in a raid at a terrace house in Segambut.

00:07Central OCPD Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohammed Zahari said they arrested two men

00:14while moving 42 kilograms of cannabis buds at the premises during the raid at 7.25pm on March 12.

00:22He said the suspects, aged 33 and 42, were caught transferring the drug packages worth about

00:28483,722 ringgit from a car parked in the house's garage.

00:35He said the raiding team searched the car and found two plastic packages containing cannabis buds

00:41on the rear passenger seat and another 38 packages in the trunk.

00:45He said they also found drugs in the duo's trousers pockets.

00:49He said the duo rented the house on a daily basis through an online platform.

00:54The suspects tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine,

00:58with one having nine prior records for drug-related and violent crimes.

01:03Police said the suspects had been trafficking drugs for two months,

01:07earning 1,000 ringgit to 1,500 ringgit per delivery.

01:12They said the drugs seized could supply to some 100,000 users.

01:16The duo have been remanded for seven days to help with police investigation.
