Twenty three year old Josh Maraj is calling on anyone with information on the whereabouts of his father who went missing since 2023 to come forward.

He says an investigation was launched but went cold after some time, and to date there has no new information and his father's body has never been recovered.

00:09His son posted to social media on Sunday, pleading for assistance.
00:14He tells us his father left home the morning of Friday, March 17, 2023, to go on a private
00:22job but never returned.
00:25He says police later recovered his father's vehicle with his father's eyeglasses and its
00:31case in the trunk of the car.
00:34Josh Miraj tells TV6 it has been a challenging two years for his family.
00:39Well, it's been tough because he was the brother of the family.
00:43We have four siblings.
00:46One is 18, one is 17 at present.
00:50The other one is 11 and the other one is 8.
00:54He tells us they have tried to get financial assistance, but they keep getting stonewalled.
01:01We had to bring back and forth the social welfare and so forth, and I said they can't
01:06help out because we don't have a body and he's not there as yet.
01:10Josh tells TV6 his family desperately needs closure.
01:14I want my father back.
01:16It's almost two years.
01:17We are tired.
01:18I mean, I am 23, but I have younger siblings.
01:21Every day they ask.
01:22They want to know what's happening.
01:23Where is their father?
01:24That is a question we don't have.
01:26If my father is already dead, you know, just call and say, Josh, your father, XYZ, we bury
01:30him, we trim him.
01:31So whatever the case may be, if it's bones, I will bury my father.
01:34I will let my siblings see my father for the last, via a coffin.
01:38When we bury him, we'll know that he's there.
01:40He vows to continue posting on social media and calling for information until his family
01:47gets the closure they need.
