Protester holding Palestinian flag climbs Big Ben Tower

00:00In London, a Palestinian young man has been holding a flag for 15 hours at the Parliament's Big Ben Tower.

00:06The young man has kept his food and drinks with him and has been sharing videos on social media,

00:11in which he is chanting the slogans of Palestine's freedom.

00:19It's been about 15 hours and this young man got on the Big Ben at about 7am.

00:24He got on the Big Ben with all his equipment.

00:26He has a rucksack and a bag in which he has kept his food and drinks.

00:30He is still on the Big Ben Tower.

00:33A large number of police and ambulance services are present there.

00:36That area has been closed for traffic.

00:38He has been approached by a crane several times and tried to talk to him.

00:43But the young man has still said that he will come down when he feels like it.

00:47If he tries to come closer, he will go further up.

00:50All these incidents have raised questions about the security of the Westminster Parliament.

00:55Because the Big Ben Tower is present at the corner of the Westminster Parliament House.

00:59This is a historic building on which the young man is present since morning.

01:04When the young man climbed on the Big Ben, his feet were injured.

01:21He kept saying that he was protesting against the oppression of Palestine.

01:29Police, ambulance service and fire brigade are also present in the area.
