00:24Beyond the Gates finally made its big debut on February 24th, and let's just say it

00:29wasted no time bringing the drama.

00:32Set in the Maryland suburb just outside of Washington, D.C., the soap is focused around

00:36the Dupree family, a multi-generational affluent African-American family in a gated community

00:42called Fairmount Crest.

00:44And trust us, from the very first episode, it was all about scandal, secrets, and sizzling

00:50hot drama.

00:52The introduction to the Duprees was nothing short of iconic, with Anita Dupree and her

00:56perfect eldest daughter, Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson, catching up over breakfast at

01:01the country club.

01:02But things got even juicier as we met Dani Dupree, the rebellious younger daughter, whose

01:07life is currently in absolute chaos.

01:10Why?

01:11Well, because her husband of 35 years, Bill Hamilton, decided to have an affair with none

01:16other than Hayley Lawson.

01:18And to make matters worse, Hayley wasn't just some random woman, she was practically family.

01:24After being welcomed with open arms by Dani, her daughters Naomi and Chelsea, and the rest

01:29of the Hamilton clan, Hayley repaid their kindness by running off with Bill.

01:34If that wasn't bad enough, Bill and Hayley are now set to tie the knot.

01:54Then, we also met Ashley Morgan, who had her first day at work, while her boyfriend Derek

02:00Baldwin made her breakfast to celebrate.

03:24And did you know Carla Muesli, who plays Danny Dupree, and Melissa Claire Egan, aka Chelsea,

03:29on YNR, actually went to high school together?

03:33Egan even shared a throwback pic from 1999 of them in what looks like a school play with

03:38the caption,

03:42Now, if that's not a sign that we need a Chelsea and Danny crossover, we don't know what is.
