Two days after Donald Trump's long-anticipated tariffs on Mexico took effect, the President announced on Thursday that the country's southern neighbor would be exempt from tariffs on certain goods until April 2.

00:00All right, news now coming in meanwhile, there could be a U-turn on Mexico by Donald Trump,

00:06at least one of the countries that the US president willing to spare now.

00:11Remember that he's gone after at least four to five nations, including India, when it

00:16comes to either high tariff or reciprocal tariff.

00:19Tariffs on Mexico have been relaxed, but the heat still building on the neighbor nation,

00:25Canada.

00:27We do not need Canada's lumbering cars.

00:31Trump slams Canada as a high, is a high tariff nation and that will continue to stand.

00:56I'll tell you what's a high tariff nation is Canada.

01:01Canada charges us 250% for our milk product and other product and a tremendous tariff

01:09on lumber and things as such, and yet we don't need their lumber.

01:12We have more lumber than they do.

01:14We don't need Canada's lumber.

01:16So what I'm doing is I'll be signing an executive order freeing up our forests so that we're

01:23allowed to take down trees and make a lot of money and then reharvest trees.

01:30Also, we're cutting fire divides.

01:32A fire divide is a 50 yard to 70 yard swath where the trees can't, you know, it's long

01:39enough so trees don't burn forever until you can get them out.

01:44And those trees can be sold and made a lot of money with so.

01:47But we'll be doing that.

01:48We don't need trees from Canada.

01:50We don't need cars from Canada.

01:52We don't need energy from Canada.

01:55We don't need anything from Canada.

02:11Pooja, what we've been seeing that Donald Trump, he has been claiming even before the

02:16elections, he said that he wants to make America great again.

02:19He wants all the resources that have been moving out of the country to be back in the

02:23country.

02:24And that's why all the policies or tariff award that we are seeing regarding these particular

02:31statements that we see in America, this is all centered for the people of America.

02:38That's what Trump is trying to show, in fact, that whatever resources, whatever money, whatever

02:44trade he's doing now, he's doing to bring the resources back to America.

02:48And the fentanyl issue or the border issues where the law has become suddenly very strong.

02:55We see that Trump is now trying to bring back the resources that was that's what, in fact,

03:00he's trying to at least claim.

03:02And that's why all these statements that we are seeing each day is bringing a lot of uncertainty

03:07with the with the relation with reference to the relations between Canada, Mexico and

03:13United States and or a number of other countries to Pooja.
