00:00In a mountain in Bukidnon, the missing fighter jet of the Philippine Air Force was found.

00:05Two pilots of the airplane were killed,

00:07which according to the Air Force, helped in the operation against the New People's Army.

00:17The Philippine Air Force circled Mount Kalatungan in Bukidnon

00:21to look for the F-A-50 fighter jet that was missing on Tuesday.

00:25The ground troops were accompanied by several civilian volunteers.

00:30After several hours of circling,

00:32the fighter jet with the tail number 002 was found earlier at 11 o'clock in the morning.

00:37The two pilots were also found dead,

00:40not to mention their names.

00:42According to the 4th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army,

00:45the fighter jet was considered to have provided air support

00:48to the troops conducting the operation against the New People's Army

00:52in the province of Kabanglasan, Bukidnon.

00:54To soften the ground and to preserve our forces

00:58and avoid casualties,

01:01our troops from the ground requested air support and artillery fire support.

01:07We delivered the necessary firepower from the air.

01:11But the fighter jet lost contact with its fellow F-A-50s.

01:15In the first investigation, the plane collided with trees when it crashed.

01:20It is still being investigated where the crash happened.

01:22According to the Air Force, the pilots are experienced and qualified.

01:27The plane that crashed is similar to the planes that dropped bombs

01:32in the warehouses of the Maute Terrorist Group in Marawi.

01:35The remaining 11 F-A-50s were grounded or not flown

01:39while the investigation is being conducted.

01:42The sooner we can get the fleet out of the grounded status,

01:49the better.

01:50We really need our F-A-50s to be there

01:53in case we have to face challenges

01:58in our territorial waters and exclusive economic zone areas.
