00:00It will go down to Php 49 per kilo, the maximum suggested retail price of imported rice by March 1.
00:09This is the first time that MSRP of imported rice will go down to Php 50 per kilo after 6,000.
00:19But Agriculture Secretary Francisco T. Laurel Jr. clarified that this will not be implemented in the whole country.
00:26This will only be implemented in Metro Manila and a few other places.
00:31In light of this, they noticed that the price of imported rice in some provinces is already lower than MSRP.
00:41Remember that MSRP was implemented in imported rice to control the price of imported rice in the market,
00:48which reached more than Php 60 per kilo.
00:52The first thing that the GA said is that it is still possible for MSRP to go down depending on the situation.
