00:36which was approved by their mayor.
00:39The so-called resolution
00:40emphasizes their support
00:42in defending the country's sovereignty
00:45and shows support
00:46for the strong military of the Philippines
00:49in ensuring its security
00:50in the territorial waters of the country.
00:53According to Attorney Marian Peled,
00:55the presiding officer of the State Council,
00:57their support comes from
00:59understanding the situation
01:01of the local fishermen
01:03whose livelihood is in danger
01:05due to the ongoing international violence
01:07in the territory.
01:09Hinonangan has 14 coastal barangays
01:11out of the 40 barangays.
01:13So, they value
01:15the importance
01:17of their marine resources.
01:19And then,
01:21the issue in the West Philippine Sea,
01:23it talks about
01:25our territory,
01:27our jurisdiction,
01:29wherein our fishermen
01:31can go to their livelihood.
