Back to the Future Part II was released in theaters on November 22, 1989. The movie is the sequel to Back to the Future and stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, and Thomas F. Wilson. Robert Zemeckis directed the film, and Bob Gale wrote it.
