Prayers for Pope Francis outside hospital

People pray for Pope Francis outside Gemelli hospital in Rome, the day after the Vatican warned the 88-year-old's condition was "critical." The Argentine pontiff, who is being treated for double pneumonia, suffered a prolonged asthma-style attack on Saturday and required blood transfusions for a low platelet count.

00:00I came here because I feel a duty, but also a pleasure, to be able to visit the Holy Father,
00:29even though I know I can't see him in person, and I'm praying for him, for his health,
00:36because he is a special person for all of us.
00:40Special people must be protected, must be reassured, and he reassures us every day,
00:50despite his illness.
00:59I'm sure he is receiving all the necessary treatment here,
01:12and they are doing their best to put him back in the womb and send him back to the Vatican in the best possible condition.
01:20Let's hope he makes it, and let's send him a message that we are here every day.
01:29Thank you very much.
