00:17Caristiana owns. Caristiana was just really angry, thinking that Boyd had started the

00:55She just felt as if she needed to get away, so Series 1 ended with Caristiana heading

01:00off to Edinburgh and I think she's been away for about three weeks. When we first

01:04see her in Series 2, the hotel has been redone up and they're just getting ready to open

01:11again, but she has somebody in tow.

02:18Dun Asian, but I'm an Islander at heart.

02:21She introduces herself very much as Carrie's girlfriend and I think Mairit then has to

02:26fight for what she wants, you know, so it creates a shift in your relationship.

02:30Playing Judy's been a dream, really, because she's one of these characters that just

02:36takes over and doesn't really understand the impact that she's having.

02:41Kind of kills people with kindness, but in a way that rubs everyone up the wrong way,

02:46and has just decided that she's very much part of Carrie's life, as she calls it.

02:51But what redeems her, I think, is that she can see there is a connection there

02:54with Mairit and she does step aside because she feels,

02:58actually, I've maybe stepped over a line here.

03:01And she goes with good grace. She's just off on her next adventure.

03:05Is everything okay?

03:08But the lights have just come back on.

03:11Back to Edinburgh.

03:14I'm going to get the first ferry tomorrow.

03:17This place is incredible.

03:20But this is your home.

03:22These are your people and your person is already here.

03:28I think Caristíona almost had to meet somebody like Judy to realise, actually,

03:33how much she loved Mairit.

03:34And then vice versa, Mairit had to see Caristíona with somebody new.
