Wembanyama injury leaves Spurs 'devastated'

Victor Wembanyama has been ruled out for the rest of the season, with his absence being felt by the Spurs.

00:00After all-star break Victor felt his arm didn't feel completely normal. That was

00:07articulated to our medical staff. They looked into it and that's how we got

00:13here. It's devastating news I think because anytime the league loses a

00:17player of that magnitude it's tough because you're losing a main player of

00:23the league that the fans and people enjoy watching. I know Victor loves to

00:28play the game. He wants to be with his teammates. I know that. He'd want to

00:32finish this thing out. It's tough you know hearing news like that. You know Vic

00:37means so much to us and you know to see him go through that it kind of

00:41take a toll on everybody but we know that regardless that we have

00:47his back. We're here for him and we are all brothers. When Vic's here it's just a

00:52whole other level. Such an amazing player and you guys get to see it just on the

00:56court but off the court he means so much to not only me but the whole

01:00entire team, the staff. He's one of the most amazing people to be around.
