00:16Trump has laid out a plan that could work to achieve a durable peace.

00:26That concept includes two requirements for compromise by Ukraine relating to territory

00:34occupied by Russia, relating to possibly joining NATO.

00:45And Zelensky has said he's willing to look at compromise, at least on land.

00:50The concept also includes two points where Russia must compromise.

00:55They must accept that to deter future Russian aggression, Ukraine will be substantially

00:59armed by the United States and its allies and partners, and they must accept a demilitarized

01:04zone with European troops in between, European peace enforcers.

01:10Moscow has rejected those two conditions.
