Delhi CM designate Rekha Gupta left her residence for Ramlila Maidan where the swearing-in ceremony will take place. Gupta's supporters offered her bouquets.

00:00okay so let's get you all of the updates really of what you can expect from the grand swearing-in

00:04ceremony. This right here is the Ram Leela Maida. We'll show you around. Those are the entry gates

00:10are from where in fact everyone's making their way through. 30,000 people expected to be in

00:15attendance for the swearing-in ceremony and these will be people from all walks of life. I told you

00:26will be here but besides that also the NDA chief ministers are going to be here in a big show of

00:32strength for the alliance. This has been a trend of late that the BJP and the NDA have been following

00:38where in every state that they win they ensure it's a big show of strength. All the chief ministers

00:43come together here at the city where the swearing-in takes place. So Delhi is no different.

00:48The BJP going all out in its celebrations. So you'll see all the chief ministers witnessing

00:54taking oath as chief minister, not just her. Remember the cabinet also will be sworn in so

01:00you'll see Parvesh Verma, you'll see Ashish Sood, you'll see Kapil Mishra and several others also

01:05taking oath as ministers. We don't know just yet which ministries they will be given but they will

01:10take oath as cabinet ministers. Now besides that in a message of inclusivity that the BJP is sending

01:16out when I talk about 30,000 guests being a part of the swearing-in ceremony we're talking about

01:22slum dwellers. In a message by the BJP of thank you to these slum dwellers for voting for them

01:29especially considering of course that they were part of the ARP's crucial vote bank previously.

01:34But let's get you these images now of Rekha Gupta, the woman of the moment, the woman

01:40in whose hands the fate of Delhi now lies of how she transforms and how she works for the welfare

01:46of Delhi. Now it did come as a surprise to few last evening that she's the chosen one especially

01:51considering that the Delhi BJP had several veteran leaders but the BJP has gone with the woman face

01:57keeping in mind that the party has no woman chief ministers so this was an important balance. She

02:03belongs to the Baniya community, the same community as Arvind Kejriwal so there's messaging involved

02:09there too and then there is the fact of course that she is the same gender as Atishi, the chief

02:14minister just before her. So it'll be interesting to see at this point how Rekha Gupta performs

02:20a first time MLA and yet being given a chance by the BJP and the message from the top brass is very

02:25clear they're saying anyone even a karyakarta who performs who has the right combinations to make it

03:20Ravindra Raj will be part of Delhi's new cabinet. You look at that particular breakup you see how

03:26the BJP has done that perfect balance of ensuring everyone is represented of ensuring the perfect

03:32caste combine and perhaps every section that's voted for them being represented adequately in

03:38the cabinet and it's an interesting mix not just on that front but also because you're seeing all

03:43of the senior most leaders being accommodated. The BJP high command has said very clearly that

03:48this isn't going to lead to any sort of bickering this isn't going to lead to any problems and

03:54they'll have to ensure it because mind you previously the BJP's faced this in the national

03:59capital in the 1990s when you had chief ministers being changed left right and center so they are

04:05going to be at this point hoping that doesn't happen in Delhi once again they want a strong

04:10government this time for the next five years let's get your reactions

04:38today I am able to see that a daughter of an ordinary family is getting such a big responsibility
