01:00It's still very, very surreal, just never, never didn't know and didn't honestly think

01:18that I would ever get the chance to be here at Ferrari.

01:20So it's something I'm really, really thankful for and proud to be a part of.

01:26And then this car, it's going to be my car and Marlon Childs' car, but I've driven the

01:32old car, a couple of the older cars that were built for other drivers, but this one's been

01:37built for me and Childs.

01:39So it's really, just that alone is really, really cool.

01:56We announced that I'll be joining at the beginning of 2024, so I had a long, long year and lots

02:06of questions, lots of thoughts, lots of trying to imagine what it's going to be like when

02:10I do eventually get to Ferrari, what the factory would be like, what the people would be like,

02:16what the welcome would be like, so many things.

02:19And I don't approach anything with an expectation, but it's definitely, I tried to imagine it

02:25and it's that and so much more.

02:29The sheer magnitude and size of the team, the passion when you actually get in to the

02:34team and feel it, it's something real and almost quantifiable.

02:41I remember when I moved from McLaren to Mercedes, that was a big leap, but it was still the

02:48Mercedes engine, so it was, you know, there were some similarities.

02:54But coming here to Italy, everything is just so different.

03:01And the tools in which we use, the language element, but everyone's been amazing to work

03:08with so far and clearly very, everyone's very, very hungry, super driven.

03:14It's kind of seamless working with Childs, it's not been, there's been no dramas.

03:20Obviously, I knew that I was coming here, but also before it was even announced, Childs

03:26and I would always chat over the race weekends.

03:30And I think there's always been a common, a mutual respect between us two.

04:16At the end of the day, in our sport, we always try and analyse what can be done better.

04:22And for this new car, we've done everything in order to do a step forward.

04:26And it's definitely a step forward.

04:28So yes, however, it still remains to be seen whether it's the best or the rest, which is

04:33eventually what counts in Formula One.

04:36It's a relative sport and we want to be the best.

04:39Having come just short of the Constructors' title last year, yeah, there's only one goal

04:45for me and this is to be, to obviously win the Constructors' Championship with Ferrari.

04:52That would be incredible.

04:55And win the Drivers' Championship as well, which is a dream I have since child and that

05:02I would love to achieve one day.

05:03So yeah, winning the two titles are the goals this year.

05:09We get on extremely well together.

05:11We've already spent quite a bit of time together in Maranello.

05:17I think the word surprise is not the right word because whenever the most successful

05:24driver in F1 history comes to the team, you expect, I expected already Lewis to do a lot

05:30of things outstandingly well that will justify all his success that he's had in his career.

05:37And obviously there are lots of things for me to learn from him.

05:41So it's a very interesting moment because it's obviously the first times I get to see

05:47how he works behind the scene and it's very, very interesting for me.

05:51So I'm trying to learn as much as possible and I cannot wait to be racing alongside him

05:58very soon for Ferrari and hopefully we'll win the title together.
