00:13Well, the internet doesn't seem to know.

00:15He's clearly taller than Messi, Macron, Modi and Pranab Mukherjee.

00:19So he's taller than most world leaders, easily over 6 feet.

00:23Here he's standing beside King of Spain, who's 6 foot 5 inches.

00:26Looks like the emir is about an inch shorter, which would place him at around 6 feet 4 inches or 193 cm.

00:32Still, it's all guesstimate.

00:34What we do know is that Tamim rules an authoritative regime.

00:37He holds an all-executive legislative authority in Qatar,

00:40where political parties are banned and elections aren't exactly free and fair.

00:44Qatar's citizens have limited political and civil rights.

00:47In a rare gesture of hospitality, PM Modi personally went to the airport to receive the emir,

00:52who's on a two-day state visit to India, the first since 2015.

00:55On the table? Trade, investment, energy and technology ties between India and Qatar.

01:00But there's one issue still pending.

01:03The return of the Indian Navy veteran.

01:05Back in August 2022, eight former Navy personnel were arrested in Qatar on espionage charges.

01:10They were initially sentenced to death, but after diplomatic intervention, the sentences were commuted.

01:15Seven of them have returned to India, but one remains in Qatar.

01:18Will this visit change that?

01:20Height may be debatable, but his power? Not so much.
