00:00Today, from investors to citizens, stakeholders are asking companies for management and in-line investments with ESG parameters, i.e. environmental, social and governance.
00:15Astra, the association that brings together local transport companies in Italy, presented in Bolzano a Valdemecum on ESG accounting, which serves to show stakeholders how to achieve the goals set.
00:28In the network of Astra there is also Alto Atesina Sasa, among the first in Italy to invest in sustainability.
00:34We are focusing on the energy mix, i.e. we are, in addition to the investments in the fleet, today we are counting about 400 buses, of which about 10% have zero emissions.
00:49We are focusing on both electric and hydrogen buses and we are also evaluating for the transition period to use HVO to reduce emissions.
01:00Thanks to ESG reporting, it is possible to review and optimize production processes, but also to align them with contemporary financial trends, opening new opportunities.
01:10We must consider all the goals to be achieved, i.e. also financial and economic sustainability, and the whole supply chain, i.e. the whole part of the producers, of the infrastructures, because these aspects must not be underestimated.
01:23Among the best practices mentioned during the conference is also the hydrogen refueling station, which will soon be built in Merano to meet demand and supply.
01:33We are together with Sasa building the next hydrogen production station, so a great commitment to create public transport, social but above all eco-sustainable.
