After winning a first constructors' title since 1998, Lando Norris and McLaren are after both crowns this year

00:00After last year, I think we kind of have no excuses, I guess.

00:04In the past, we've had our fair share, but honest and true excuses.

00:11I think this year, we kind of don't have any.

00:13We have nothing to hide behind.

00:14We proved last year we have everything we need

00:16and everything it takes to fight at the top and be the best.

00:21If we're not at the beginning of the season,

00:22then we're just not good enough.

00:24And we've not done a good enough job.

00:26But that's certainly not how we're thinking of things.

00:28That's not how our mentality's been.

00:29I know, coming into this season, that for a lot of people,

00:33I'm the favourite and that kind of thing.

00:35And as a team, we're the favourites.

00:36But I think I've said in some interviews over the last month or so,

00:41or a few weeks, that a lot of people think that pressure is a bad thing.

00:46But for me, it's really the opposite.

00:49It's a good thing.

00:51I've always done much better under pressure.

00:54I'm able to think and to focus much more under pressure.

00:57So everyone has their own way of doing things.

00:59And I've said that many times.

01:00But I still get nervous and I feel pressure.

01:04And I know it's there.

01:05But my best performances have often come when that is around.
