00:00Family members of Israeli hostages held in Gaza expressed mixed emotions of happiness
00:07and grief ahead of the next release.
00:11The mother of a hostage held by Hamas who is not slated to be released in the first
00:15phase of the ceasefire said she is worried about the ceasefire holding.
00:20I'm scared. I won't get to the point where I can hug him and feel him again and start
00:29our lives again. There is a chance this is the end. And I'm really terrified. And we
00:38haven't got to the second stage yet.
00:41The surprise acceleration and releases were apparently in trade for Israel's allowing
00:46mobile homes and construction equipment into Gaza. Israel began allowing entry of rubble
00:53removing equipment on Tuesday, including bulldozers from Egypt that were seen cleaning rubble
00:58near the Rafah border crossing.
01:00Meanwhile, Palestinians in Gaza expressed hope that the ceasefire will hold as the first
01:05phase nears its end. The warring sides have yet to negotiate the second phase, in which
01:11Hamas will release dozens more hostages in exchange for a lasting ceasefire and an Israeli
01:16withdrawal.
