00:00The Department of Education is investigating if there is a conspiracy within the government.

00:04Those who did not comply have ghost beneficiaries in the Senior High School Voucher Program.

00:10According to Assistant Education Secretary Jocelyn Andaya,

00:13they believe that the fraud has been going on for a long time.

00:17In the school year 2024-2025,

00:20more than 1,300 ghost beneficiaries of the voucher program

00:25were discovered in 12 private schools.

00:30Because of that, they did not pay the P25M voucher to private schools.

00:36The P25M is the annual budget of the Department of Education for this program

00:43where they give P14,000 to P22,500 vouchers to incoming grade 11 students.
