00:34In the activity of Princess, the President-elect gave importance to the work of the DSWD

00:46The President-elect also considered the 4Peace, Sustainable Livelihood Program
00:50and the rapid development of the DSWD, especially during the pandemic.
00:55At the same time of the anniversary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development,
00:57the President-elect also led the launch of new programs of the DSWD,
01:02including the Family in the New Philippines Compendium
01:06that will provide a wide range of services to the DSWD.
01:10Its aim is to introduce programs that not only provide financial assistance
01:15but also psychosocial interventions, care and residential facilities for various sectors of society.
01:22The HELPS or Harmonized Electronic License and Permit System
01:26and MTA or Minors Traveling Abroad Systems were also included.
01:30HELPS is an online platform for easier registration,
01:34license and accreditation of Social Welfare and Development Agencies or SWDAs
01:40while MTA is for online application of minors who wish to leave the country.
01:47This is in line with the strengthening of the digitalization
01:50and streamlining of the public service of the DSWD.
