00:00The Department of Public Works and Highways has successfully completed its two projects to improve the roads of Albay.
00:07Motorists and farmers will now be able to benefit from the first and third districts of Albay,
00:12the complete farm-to-market road that facilitates direct access,
00:16and from the rice fields in Barangay Tagpo, Ligao City.
00:20Meanwhile, in Barangay Bantayan, Tabaco City, the DPWH also expanded the Ligao-Tabaco Road
00:26from two to four lines that are expected to improve the traffic flow in the area,
00:31which includes additional drainage and solar streetlights for a safer road.
00:37The farm-to-market road project in Ligao City is worth Php 14.92 million,
00:43while the expansion in Tabaco City is worth Php 19.80 million.
00:48The completed projects are part of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s program for agriculture
00:54that will make it easier for families and farmers to connect with their communities.
