00:00Hello, I'm Josh. I got into anime ever since I was a child, and as I've gotten older it's

00:16really cool because you can transition from childhood into adulthood and still have shows

00:21and stories for you, which is great. I just love the storytelling style, I think it's

00:26really great the way they do it and they delve into the characters. Cosplaying is something

00:31I've always been interested in and something I wanted to get into but just never really

00:35had the means, and it's cool that they're starting to do events like this over here

00:39because we can dress up and we can come and have fun and enjoy and see our favourite shows

00:42come to life. Hi everybody, my name is Debbie. I'm six. I'm a big fan of anime and videos

00:49since childhood, which got me into cosplay. I started off from Legend of Zelda and then

00:56moved on to games like Final Fantasy and then finally anime. For me, my interest in anime

01:02came from sort of like the indie games, so I started with Undertale and as I got more

01:06into those fandoms, I started getting into anime as well. Actually, the costume I'm wearing

01:11is my first anime I ever watched, which is the Case Study Robotitas. The reason I got

01:16into this character specifically and how I got into it is I just had a lot of passion

01:21I guess for crafting and seeing people get into their element of a character, and I really

01:26wanted to do that as well. My name is Zubair. I've been a cosplayer in the UAE for about

01:32seven years. This character is Morko, the Lord of Bones from Baldur's Gate 3. I spent

01:39around two months working on it with a small PVC frame, got some plastic skeletons and

01:46used my engineering knowledge, since I have a degree in engineering, to put it together.

01:51I'm Nekomata, and I'm cosplaying from Zenit Zone Zero. It took like two hours to do the

01:58wig and three hours to do this face, and like 30 minutes to get into my costume, and I've

02:04been cosplaying for 13 years now, so I'm old. Anime makes me feel good, and cosplay makes

02:13me feel amazing, if I can express it.
