00:10The Bollywood star cum Member of Parliament is in the eye of a storm yet again and has

00:15actually been publicly rebuked by the BJP, which is something quite rare for a party

00:20that prides itself on inner party discipline. That's because of controversial statements

00:25that she made on the farmer agitation. And with elections coming up in a state like Haryana

00:30where the BJP is already on the back foot with Jats and farmers in particular, this

00:34was something a controversy that the BJP simply couldn't afford. Days later, Kangana did it

00:40again with her views on a caste census. And once again, the BJP distanced itself from

00:44her. Now, Kangana is no stranger to controversy. She's someone that I actually admired quite

00:50a lot when she first entered the film industry because unlike a lot of others in Bombay,

00:55she was someone who was really self made. She came from a small town in Himachal Pradesh

01:00as an outsider and made it big. And while the rest of the industry would make fun of

01:04her accent and her clothes, she really transformed herself and was truly self made and ended

01:10up becoming one of the most fashionable, most articulate actors in the film industry. But

01:15over the years, perhaps in her bid to become a politician and to join the BJP, we've seen

01:21more and more outrageous statements from her, even communal statements from her and one

01:26controversy after another. And Kangana Ranaut perhaps will realize that in politics, everyone

01:33is expendable and that there is a limit to what she can say publicly now that she's a

01:38BJP MP. Will she learn that lesson? Let's see.
