00:22Mumbai for the trailer launch of Bade Miya Chote Miya and I have to actually give her a big shout
00:28out. I saw her in Jordan wearing very skimpy clothes I must say in very cold conditions but
00:34while shooting I had such immense respect for you for braving the cold but being in skimpy clothes
00:39so songs are not that easy to film is it in Bollywood?
00:43No songs are not easy, shooting is actually not easy but it's great fun and so rewarding when you
00:50get to see like I saw the trailer today and I saw today as well and I was just I was just in awe
00:56you know to be a part of a project like this to be a part of something that's so grand yeah
01:00shooting in extreme weathers we shot in either extreme heat or extreme cold it's just exciting
01:05I feel like it adds more character to the shoot in some way I feel like it makes it more memorable.
01:09I think this is your career's biggest epic action movie if I can call it is that different from
01:13like the debut that you made which is so sweet.
01:16Extremely different I actually feel like I had to learn so much that I perhaps didn't know how to do
01:23earlier it's a whole different world not only being on a hyper commercial film but also being
01:30on an action film even I realized how difficult it was to be a part of an action film I wanted
01:36to do action throughout and my character doesn't get to do action Pam doesn't get to do action.
01:40I know, I know she's the data.
01:41Pam is the brain.
01:42She's the brain.
01:42She's the brain so she's the IT specialist incredibly smart and her weapon is her brain
01:50and her iPad that she carries along everywhere so while all the boys and Manushi are carrying the
01:53guns I'm holding my iPad and running.
01:56So you're the nerd, you're the resident nerd.
01:57But she's a cool nerd she's a she's a bold, outspoken, confident, vibrant girl so she's a
02:03nerd but she's a very, very cool nerd okay it's a character I've really enjoyed playing I have a
02:08lot of scenes with Tiger so you know there are bits where he's doing his action and he's running
02:12and I'm sort of like running behind him with him and just in running in those climate conditions
02:19where either it was so hot and then cars are burning and blowing up so there's big smoke
02:24coming your way I was winded and destroyed just from running and I was like I can't believe and
02:30he makes it look so easy, Tiger makes it look so easy when he does it because he's so effortless
02:34and so well trained and he's extremely well trained I feel like he sets a different benchmark
02:39for what it is to be an action hero but yeah it's tough work.
02:43How important are reviews is this whole debate about it like it should be done on a Monday so
02:48that you know think people have time to process it and so much work goes in yeah do you believe
02:52that? I love reviews I have no problem with reviews I really enjoy reviews I read all the
02:57reviews that come out yeah yeah I'm one of those full readers like even below you know the
03:02trailers and below all the posts I'll look at everyone's comments I love it it's good to know.
03:06Do you think somewhere you're doing things differently why is it that you get a lot more
03:09love than hate? I don't know why I get more love but I'm grateful for it I do think that I have
03:17been very lucky right from my first film yes I feel like a lot of love poured in I'm glad that
03:22people have liked the work that I've done and I'm even happy that they get to see me do
03:27something that's so completely different than all the things I've done before right in a film
03:31like Bade Miya, Chhote Miya. How do you go about choosing these roles do they come to you? I guess
03:34the process for each film is different there are lots of films that I've tested for and pursued
03:39there are films that have come to me directly and been offered Bade Miya, Chhote Miya was one of
03:44those films that I went and I really pursued I heard that the casting had opened up for Bade
03:49Miya, Chhote Miya and I was like this we need this I was like this is what we need we have to jump
03:53on to it because of course Akshay sir, Tiger, Ali sir you know it's just so massive scale of it
04:00huge scale full commercial like this is what we need to be doing so pestered Ali sir and he agreed
04:07to meet with me met Ali sir and I said I'm going to be very upfront I really want to do this film
04:13so you tell me what I need to prove, what I need to do to make you believe that I can do this
04:20and he was like okay well just do a really good audition then and they were auditioning other
04:25people as well at that time and I prepped a lot for it went and gave my audition and touch wood
04:31I think Ali sir really liked it because that day itself they called us up and said okay she's got
04:35the part I'll always pursue something if I really want it and I do feel like you have to just be
04:39out there you have to always put yourself out there you have to always be willing to face
04:43rejection you have to because you're that's the only way to grow and it's scary sometimes you
04:50don't want to put yourself out there because you feel like you might be rejected a lot of the time
04:53you will yes that's okay so I'm still learning to deal with that do you ever have a bad day in
04:58the gym we all want to know in fact some of the comments were there does this girl not take a
05:03rest day this is the funny part about social media and this is the thing that I keep trying to
05:07tell people anyone that comes and tells me this I think for the last one month I have done my nice
05:13videos and I've done my classes but there have also been days where I've slept till 2 p.m and
05:19not worked out and I've eaten whatever I wanted did Akshay and Tiger Shaw one of the most disciplined
05:25actors in the industry get influenced by you they are the actual disciplined people see here's the
05:31thing discipline is when you do something sustainably constantly as a day in day out
05:38me I'm temperamental with it I swear and people think I'm like but I have absolutely no reason to
05:43lie I'm more than happy for everyone to believe that I am this fitness enthusiast 24 7 but I'm
05:47not see I enjoy it because I like keeping myself occupied which is why I'll end up doing all these
05:53many different classes I like challenging myself it's more a hobby than a lifestyle do you think
05:59this will also be a movie where women have strong 100% I mean if you see Alisa's filmography also
06:05in all his films women are never just there to look pretty and smile the women are really fierce
06:10you know they all have things to do they all have a lot of agency they're all strong physically and
06:18mentally and just you know the way they talk so I think being a part of having this be my first
06:23proper mass commercial film is even more special because I actually have so much to do so does
06:29Manushi's character Misha also is doing a lot of action is you know beating up the it's all
06:36heroic it's wonderful we had a great time shooting in the middle east really we love
06:40shooting in Jordan and we love shooting in Abu Dhabi and it was just wonderful
