00:00Ladies and gentlemen, we just mentioned the incredible record that Novak Djokovic has
00:07broken now on both tours, surpassing Steffi Graf's record of now 378 weeks as the world
00:16number one.
00:17He is joined on centre court by the COO of Dubai Duty Free and the tournament director
00:23Salah Talaq.
00:24They are going to just take a few photos and then we have a little something for Novak
00:29to show him.
00:36Novak, if you just have a quick look at the screen, there might be something there that
00:54will bring back a few memories for you.
01:24I think you were seven years old around that time.
01:28What would that little boy think of this achievement, 378 weeks as the world number one?
01:34Well, I guess he wouldn't be surprised because he knew.
01:40Of course, obviously at that point, you know, I dreamt a lot.
01:48I dreamt big dreams and as I mentioned a few minutes ago, that was the biggest dream.
01:54Well, I used my visualisation, I would say imagination pretty well.
02:00But you know, at that point, I couldn't imagine that I would get this far.
02:05You know, I really believed that I could, you know, one day become a number one tennis
02:10player in the world.
02:11But to stay this many weeks in that ranking spot, it's definitely something that surprised
02:17me too.
02:19It is a remarkable feat.
02:21July 2011 is when you first became world number one.
02:25Congratulations.
02:27On that achievement.
02:28Ladies and gentlemen, please give Novak Djokovic a very special round of applause.
