00:00The future perspectives of KCC is to make sure that our markets are safe

00:10and our products are within the quality parameters needed.

00:19First, I would like to welcome you to Abu Dhabi Council for the Quality and Conformity

00:27and the Abu Dhabi Council is mainly responsible for the quality infrastructure for the emirate

00:34of Abu Dhabi. There are many sectors within the council one of them is the standards and

00:42conformity program sector and this sector is responsible for the standards development

00:48within the emirate of Abu Dhabi and also the conformity programs related to products,

00:54personnel and systems. We make sure that these products and services are conform to the standards

01:02through programs of monitoring and also assessment and this can could be done within the

01:11private and cooperation with the private sector. Very important outcome that we will be looking

01:18into is that we make sure that the products are safe and also in case of requirements of

01:27quality parameters to be tested this will be tested within the sectors of required for the testing

01:37within the council. Our main aim within the sector is that we'll start with the conformity program

01:46that will be initiated by a standard. Most of our requests are coming from the regulators

01:52and we are empowering the regulator to come up with their requirements within the quality

01:59infrastructure within the emirate of Abu Dhabi and whether it is related to a service product

02:07or as we require some of the systems needed. The main aim is that we develop the standards

02:20and after these standards the regulator will decide whether it will be developed into a

02:27conformity program and the conformity program would require assessment and it will come

02:33at the end of it with a certificate that will be issued by the council and this will make sure that

02:41the product or the service is complying with the standards and that has to be assessed and also

02:48monitored on future perspectives. Of course the regulators is responsible always to the monitoring

02:56side and we will also require the impact assessment of the programs being issued by us

03:04and adopted by the regulators in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. So the main aim of QCC is that it enhance

03:14the quality requirements within the infrastructure sector in the emirate of Abu Dhabi for the

03:22regulators so we will not be monitoring but we will be enhancing the requirements within the

03:29quality infrastructure. The future perspectives of QCC is to make sure that our markets are safe

03:42and our products are within the quality parameters needed and also the services

03:49that being provided are up to the standards required.
