UAE University students return from Spain trip with heightened knowledge of arts and culture

Twelve students from the UAE University (UAEU) have returned from a successful one-week immersive trip to Spain, bringing with them not only memories, but also a deeper understanding of another country’s culture. 00:00And by the way, the five of us were nominated to go to Spain, to Navarrese University,

00:05one of the best art colleges in the world.

00:07And we're going to go there to learn more about their environment and look at their facilities

00:12and then we will try to improve our own university's facilities to become to the extent of that university.

00:18I'm excited for two things.

00:20One thing is that we're going to visit Navarrese University, which is mainly focusing on art.

00:24The second thing I'm excited about is the city that we're visiting.

00:28I have always been a person that enjoyed old city structures

00:31and the city that we're visiting has actually been built in the 14th century.

00:35So you can see all the old cathedrals, all the old town bridges and the old town hall itself

00:39is all century-styled, which is what I'm excited about.

00:42This is my first time to go to Spain, inshallah, this month with the university.

00:48I'm excited to learn more about Spanish culture and art.

00:53I heard that they will teach us Spanish

00:56and I saw that there are going to be many activities that we are going to do,

01:02many fun activities and we can learn and benefit from this trip.

01:07And it looks like a really fun program that is a really great opportunity for any students.

01:16First of all, I'm so lucky one, I have been chosen from the international students

01:22and also I'm so honoured to have this precious opportunity.

01:26This university is well known for its culture and art

01:30and also I heard that Spain has a really long and great history, so I'm so interested.

01:37We're really excited, all of us, because it's a great opportunity for all of us to learn more about Spain

01:42and it's going to be fun, for sure, and educating, so we're very excited to go.
