00:00I've been having ups and downs in my career and I guess this is a...
00:03I think after COVID, this is a fresh start for me.
00:09It's tentatively titled as Kural.
00:12It's voice.
00:13This is my first film after, you know, after the COVID struck the whole world.
00:17It's not easy at all.
00:18When we decided to do this film, we didn't know how, you know,
00:21the situation that we were getting into, especially shooting abroad.
00:25You enter UAE, you have to do this test from India
00:29as well as in the airport here.
00:32And that was kind of a challenge because our writer from Tamil Nadu,
00:37he was tested positive.
00:38So he went into quarantine for 14 days when the shooting was,
00:42you know, was about to begin.
00:43We were pretty scared, in fact, because a lot of people coming,
00:46a lot of the unit and, you know, more than 40, 50, 60 people.
00:50And everyone has to clear it.
00:52And you've got to, you know, finish the shooting without no hindrances.
00:56So I don't know with what guts we started the film.
00:59And yeah, right now, when we see it's like it's going OK.
01:04It's almost getting over.
01:05Yeah, it's nice.
01:06I've been having ups and downs in my career.
01:09And I guess this is a I think after COVID, this is a fresh start for me.
01:14Started my schooling here.
01:15And so let me start my shooting career.
01:18There's all the, you know, post-COVID career starts with.
01:23Yeah, it was a very shocking thing to know,
01:25to even think of people from the industry or any other industry,
01:29not just actors like for me.
01:31OK, as an actor, we knew that everyone's going through the same phase.
01:35You might get through it and things.
01:37But for people, especially in the film industry.
01:40And we know it's it's like people work on daily wages
01:43and you have a huge you have an industry which is shut, you know, 100 percent.
01:48So that was quite scary.
01:50Every time you get phone calls and you know what's happening around the world
01:54and you really don't know how like I was in this unit.
01:56I was asking all these guys, like, how did you survive?
01:59Because I know like all of us, we have all, you know,
02:02tried to help people in our own ways, you know.
02:05But there are so many out there.
02:07So that was something that was scary.
02:09I don't do many, many films from the beginning.
02:12So I've been on and off shoot quite often.
02:16Might be in shoot and then might not do a film for four months
02:19or five months or six months.
02:21Not that, not deliberately, I won't, but probably pick and choose
02:25and things don't work.
02:26So I've been used to this sitting at home kind of thing.
02:29Now that I'm very comfortable about it.
02:31But then I've been now I'm like I've learned to adjust with that.
02:34So COVID in that in those terms was OK for me.
02:38But then the whole thing that's that's happening around,
02:41but the thought that cinema might not be the same or the theater,
02:47that was quite, quite disturbing.
02:49It was quite because it's uncertain, but with the hope that,
02:52you know, things will get back to normal.
02:55And I guess, but it was definitely a learning experience for all of us.
