00:00President PKR Anwar Ibrahim handed over to the party to decide whether the two highest positions need to be contested or not in the upcoming election.

00:14According to him, he respects the aspect of democracy in the party and will not interfere in the matter.

00:21Previously, right-wing politician Syamsul Iskandar Akin reported that a contest is being held so that the positions of the PKR President and his team are not contested in this May election.

00:34Former PKR Young Leader Said Badilyshah Said Osman criticized the suggestion by saying that an open contest for the highest positions is needed to strengthen democracy.

00:45Meanwhile, PKR veteran who is also a member of the House of Representatives, Hassan Abdul Karim, also questioned the legitimacy of the two highest positions of the PKR, likely not challenged by the party's election.
