01:18One of my very top priorities at EPA is to be an excellent steward of your hard-earned
01:24tax dollars.
01:26There will be zero tolerance of any waste and abuse.
01:31An extremely disturbing video circulated two months ago featuring a Biden-EPA political
01:36appointee talking about how they were tossing gold bars off the Titanic, rushing to get
01:43billions of your tax dollars out the door before inauguration day.
01:48The gold bars were tax dollars, and tossing them off the Titanic meant the Biden administration
01:55knew they were a waste of money.
01:57Following this revelation, during my meetings with members of Congress, I made a very important
02:03commitment to them and to the American people, which I reiterated at my confirmation hearing
02:08that if confirmed, I would immediately get a full account of it.
02:13Fortunately, my awesome team at EPA found the gold bars.
02:18Shockingly, roughly $20 billion of your tax dollars were parked at an outside financial
02:25institution by the Biden-EPA.
02:28This scheme was the first of its kind in EPA history, and it was purposely designed to
02:33obligate all of the money in a rush job with reduced oversight.
02:38Even further, this pot of $20 billion was awarded to just eight entities that were then
02:45responsible for doling out your money to NGOs and others at their discretion with
02:51far less transparency.
02:53Just under $7 billion was sent to one entity called the Climate United Fund.
03:00I'm sure you and I now have some of the same questions.
03:04How did these organizations decide how to allocate funding?
03:08How much money have they given out so far, and to whom?
03:12Are there any former Biden-EPA staffers who are now working at these entities?
03:17Let me make one thing abundantly clear.
03:20At this point, there is zero reason to suspect any wrongdoing by the bank.
03:26Here is my position as EPA administrator.
03:30The financial agent agreement with the bank needs to be instantly terminated, and the
03:35bank must immediately return all of the gold bars that the Biden administration talked
03:40off the Titanic.
03:42EPA needs to reassume responsibility for all of these funds.
03:47We will review every penny that has gone out the door.
03:51I will be referring this matter to the Inspector General's office, and will work with the
03:56Justice Department as well.
03:58The days of irresponsibly shoveling and boatloads of cash to far-left activist groups in the
04:04name of environmental justice and climate equity are over.
04:08The American public deserves a more transparent and accountable government than what transpired
04:14these past four years.
04:16We take our obligations under the law as seriously as it gets.
04:21I directed my team to find your gold bars, and we found them.
04:26Now we will get them back inside of control of government as we pursue next steps.
04:32As President Trump has vowed, we are going to usher in a new golden age of American success
04:38for the citizens of every race, religion, and color.
