00:34from their stocks at International Humanitarian City in Dubai.
00:39Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid ordered the aid to be sent immediately on his personal aircraft
00:43in response to the devastating blast which rocked Beirut.
00:46The blast, which appeared to have been caused by an explosion of 2,750 tons of ammonium
00:52nitrate left unsecured in a warehouse, killed at least 100 people and wounded 4,000 others.
00:59The World Health Organization Logistic Hub in Dubai will dispatch trauma kits containing
01:04emergency medical supplies enough to treat 500 injured people and surgical kits containing
01:09supplies to treat people requiring surgical care.
01:11The aid also will help Lebanese Red Cross volunteers and staff provide safe support
01:16to 5,000 survivors of the Beirut port disaster.
