00:00Love is not an emotion. Love primarily is a spiritual understanding.

00:05From that comes a high-quality relationship with the other.

00:09In that relationship, you want to elevate the other. You don't want to exploit the other.

00:13You don't want to just eat into, bite into somebody's body.

00:17Nor is love some kind of recipe to temporarily heal somebody's loneliness.

00:23The kind of meanings that we associate with love are highly demeaning, actually.

00:29Love implies get rid of your self-centered life.

00:33Do not be associated with the other in order to get something from her.

00:39Be associated with the other to give something to her.

00:43And what is it that you give to her? That which she needs.

00:46Give her the capacity to really see life, stand independently, live in freedom, live in clarity,

00:53and therefore live in joy beyond sorrow.
