00:00The bulk of population growth in the coming few decades is going to come from countries like India.

00:06What would I do by preaching these things to the Japanese?

00:10Their population is already reducing.

00:12They will become extinct if I preach a little more to them.

00:15These things need to be drilled into Indians.

00:18Because this is the place from where most of the world's population growth is going to come.

00:24India is the third biggest emitter of carbon.

00:28After China and the US, India stands at number three.

00:32And in terms of yearly growth, India is number one.

00:36If you want per capita consumption levels of the developed countries,

00:41then you reduce your population to the level of developed countries.

00:44You cannot have the population of India, but the per capita consumption of Germany.

00:49Unfortunately, that is what we want.
