00:00You are so powerful, actually, that you are scared of yourself.

00:04There are three U's in that statement.

00:07The first two refer to the small self or the ego.

00:12Third one refers to the best that you can be, the great self, the truth.

00:17Classically, the Atman.

00:20And classically, the first two U's will refer to Aham, the ego.

00:26Third one refers to, you could say, the dissolved ego, the ascended ego, the purified ego.

00:33So the ego is afraid of its own betterment.

00:38In the case of the ego, betterment is not getting bigger.

00:43Betterment implies getting smaller.

00:46And the ego does not want to get smaller.

00:48Who wants to get smaller? Nobody.

00:50So, therefore, the scare.
