00:00Today is one of the busiest days for us. People are so busy. We are on 24-7 for the last 3-4 days.
00:07We are preparing for Valentine's Day, which is yearly one of the busiest days for us.
00:12We are supplying not only to the UAE, we are supplying to Far East, Middle East and to other European countries also.
00:22So we are quite busy with preparing for coming Valentine's Day.
00:25I am Abraham Pisani, Group General Manager of Black Tulip Group of Company.
00:30We basically have almost 187 hectares of land producing fresh cut flowers.
00:36Mostly 90% are roses in the African continent.
00:40So from there we are sending flowers to European clients, Far East clients in wholesale bulk basis.
00:50In Dubai and other Middle East, we have our own local set up over there.
00:54And we are making for retail customer, for the supermarkets, hotels, specially designed arrangement as per their own request.
01:02Basically to UAE we are approximately 1,680 for last year and we are targeting for almost 2,000 tons in a year.
01:12We are targeting on that one for next year.
01:15So average we are on 1,750 tons a year.
01:1990% of the hotel industry, big groups like Hyatt Regency, Lee Meridian.
01:2690% of the leading hotel groups we are supplying.
01:30Most of the palaces we are supplying.
01:32Also we have around 960 retail customers in all Emirates for the retail customers.
01:41We are halfway of the Valentine's now.
01:45We already made arrangement with over half a million numbers of roses.
01:51We already made arrangements, bouquets already to the supermarket chains.
01:55Our own stores, we already made it.
01:57Last 2-3 days we already start preparing.
02:00But we are targeting about 1 million roses this year.
