00:00I'm in Dubai for the last 11 years. I came to Dubai in 2008 February and two prominent
00:11things I noticed. One is of course the construction of Burj Khalifa and the other one was the
00:16construction of Dubai Metro. Dubai Motorway was something special for me because I have
00:23used Toronto TTC Metro and also New York Subway. But for a Dubai Metro, it was something history
00:32in making. I wanted to be part of it. I was watching the construction activities all around
00:39Dubai at that time. And then it was announced that on 9th September 2009 at 9 o'clock and
00:469 minutes, Dubai Metro is going to be operated, going to be started. So we friends were very
00:52excited. We wanted to be part of history. So we wanted to take first day ride and we
00:57were there in Burj Uman station. The beautiful Burj Uman station, you must see it. And we
01:04had ride from Burj Uman station to Mall of Emirates station. There were full crowd to
01:12enjoy this Metro, to be a part of this history and we enjoyed it. The Metro, the look of
01:18Metro, the look of stations, the ride, it was amazing. So Dubai Metro, you are part
01:23of history, I am part of history of Dubai Metro. So congratulations for completing 10
01:30years and all the best for future. Dubai Metro is the life line of Dubai.
