00:00Okay, so I'm with here Abdelaziz from Afghanistan and Abdelaziz, you were here on that terrible
00:09day on the 15th of March.
00:12Can you tell me what happened?
00:14Yeah, on that day, we actually was praying that Friday prayer.
00:20We finished the first rakah, we was the middle of the second rakah when we heard some gunfire
00:26from outside and first we thought it was a firecracker, then one of our brother, their
00:33mom was in the front line, we saw that gunman is shooting our brother and sister, that coward.
00:43And he told everybody, he got down somebody killing our brother and sister.
00:49And no one believed him and everybody was praying until he come and shot one of the
00:53brother through that window.
00:56When he shot the brother through this window and that time I knew it was something more
01:02serious and I just ran from there and get the air force machine, run outside and I saw
01:08a guy with army clothes and bulletproof vests and everything and I asked him, who the hell
01:16are you?
01:17And he started swearing at me and that time I knew it was the guy.
01:21I just throw the air force machine at him and then he start shooting at me with very
01:28blank range because I think that time when I throw at him, he didn't have any gun, but
01:34he just get the other gun from the car and start shooting at me.
01:39And he did around six, seven shots and I come through that way and I saw another dead body
01:45and a shotgun next to it.
01:46So I take the shotgun, come outside, just called him, swearing at him and screaming
01:53and say, come in the back, I'm here.
01:55Because on that day we had between 80 to 100 people was praying here, I didn't want him
01:59to come inside the mosque.
02:02Then I had a lot of gunshot coming from the mosque, that time my knee is already here.
02:07And I just run from the back, still screaming, swearing, yelling at him.
02:12And suddenly he drop his gun there and just run toward his car and I run behind him and
02:21that shotgun I had in my hands and I just throw on his side window and smash his side
02:26window.
02:27And he got very frightened and he just look at me and give me a finger and say, I killed
02:32all of you and just talk off so fast.
02:35Then I saw him slow down because the traffic light was red.
02:39I just pick that gun again and run behind him again.
02:43Then he see me, I'm trying to run towards him and he just went through the red traffic
02:47light and disappeared.
02:49And when did the police come?
02:51The police didn't take that long, here probably in couple of minutes.
02:57But even he got caught so quickly because probably only five or seven minutes from here.
03:03Because when the police come here, they took, they asked me if I see the person and what
03:08sort of car he had, what sort of clothes he was wearing, everything.
03:12And I tell him everything and that probably make it a lot easier for the police to court
03:17him as well.
03:18Because, you know, I told him his side window is broken and that sort of car he has and
03:25this color and that sort of clothes he was wearing.
03:29And how many of your brothers were killed here that day or injured?
03:32Yeah, we had around seven dead here and probably six or seven injured.
03:39But Alhamdulillah we had a lot of mercy here.
03:42I know they had a lot of deceased and injured.
