00:00Hi guys, this is overclocked and we're checking out Oppo's new Reno

00:07It comes in a slightly unconventional box quite a bit larger than what most companies have

00:14But as you get into the box the first thing obviously you'll see on top is

00:20a whole lot of

00:22Material you'll see the device itself. We'll come back to that in a second inside

00:28You've got a nice

00:30Hard plastic case. Yeah, it's got rubbery sides, but the back is hard plastic. You've got your headphones

00:38you've got

00:40the charging cable you've got a

00:44SIM ejection tool and

00:46You've got the VOOC charger. Now the cool thing about this is that

00:52Oppo's got VOOC charging which is some of the fastest charging there is

00:56Currently available and on both models of the device this Reno as well as the Reno 10x zoom coming down to the device itself

01:03This is I'm gonna guess one of their black finishes

01:06It is quite nice looking and one of the first things I like about this is that there is no

01:11Bulge on the back of the phone on the bottom. You've got the charging port speaker as well as a headphone jack

01:17So again, that's nice to see

01:19So as soon as you switch the device on one of the first things that you notice is the full display

01:26It's one of the first times that a phone or rather a device has a complete display as you notice

01:32There's no notch no cutout of just just nothing on it. Very very slim bezels. So that's pretty cool

01:40Now the phone itself is rocking the snapdragon 710 processor

01:44That's on this Reno there the 10x zoom version has the 855 which is pretty cool 6 gigs of RAM 256 GB of memory

01:53But the coolest feature on this phone is this this shark fin

01:59Rising selfie camera. It's pretty cool

02:01So the selfie camera is a 16 megapixel camera

02:05Whereas the back is a 48 megapixel camera with a 5 megapixel depth sensor

02:10The flash itself is in the shark fin self rising camera

02:15Oppo claims that it can be open and closed like 200,000 times, which is a lot of usage

02:20I'm guessing for most people the Oppo Reno is available for dirhams 1899 and is currently in stores. We're gonna check it out
